Birthday Photos and other stuff

Hi everyone! Here are a few photos from Silas' birthday party a few weeks ago and then some from him and Colleen playing outside today. Everything's going good here. I only have one more week left of school, which boils down to only 3 more classes, so I'm very excited to have a little break for the summer. Camping and fishing and vacation! I know it will go by way too fast though, but it will still be lots of fun. Hope everyone else is doing good!

Crazy Boy!

This is a picture Colleen did with her new camera. It just shows how busy he is and all the palces he visits in about a 3 minute time span. He had an ear infection last week, so that was fun. Other than that, everything's going good.

Hi all, it's been a while, but I can say the same thing for Ben and Jeremy, too. Anyways, Silas is walking really good now. It's pretty cute, in order to keep his balance he keeps his elbows bent with his hands up next to his ears. Of course, I don't think we have any pictures of that exactly, but I'll try. Here are a few pictures. We got Colleen a new camera the other day so this is from her testing it out. We have some pictures of him eating beets that mom really wanted to see but those will have to wait, their on the other computer and I only have these photos on this computer and I don't really feel like dealing with the other computer right now. Hello everyone! Here are some pictures that we've taken over the past couple weeks. At the end is a video as well. The first part of the video was taken a couple months ago, then the next part was taken last week I think. Silas took a couple of steps today all by himself then promptly fell down. He seems to be getting braver and braver about letting go of stuff as he's holding on to it. He can stand by himself really good, now he just needs to learn to put one foot in front of the other. Things are going good, I start back to school on Tuesday so I'm looking forward to that. Hope everyone else is doing good!

This one above and below were taken after he had fallen head first on to the edge of his toy bin in the living room. If you look closely above his left eye you can see the welt that formed. It was pretty nasty looking at first but went down after a couple days.

So Big!!

He's so active now it's insane. I took him over to Mel's on Saturday morning for a bit and he climbed up some of her stairs and you could tell he was very excited. At home he's discovered that there are other rooms that he can get to, and he just loves going for the cats food dish. He enjoys hanging out in the bathroom in the mornings when Colleen is getting ready, and also likes being chased around the house. He's got quite the collection of bruises on his head, but he's starting to get better at pulling himself up without falling. He's now starting to pull himself up and then let go of whatever he's holding to and standing for a very short amount of time. It's only a matter of time. He started clapping now, too, and just loves doing it. I'll try and get some pictures of that.

So, other than Silas stuff, we're both doing pretty good. Colleen's job is still rockin' and I only have three tests this week for finals and then I'm off for a whole month, so I'm really looking forward to some quality time with Silas and Colleen. My schedule has been so hectic since September, so some time off will be nice. That's about all that's going on with us right now, hope everyone else is going good and has a happy christmas.
